KATARZYNA PACH (nee HAJDUN) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Katarzyna, on July 2, 2005. She passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 81 years with her family by her side. Katarzyna will be greatly missed by her daughter Krystyna Bray; grandchildren, Arlene, Patricia and Christopher Bray; sister Stanislawa Wojdanowska; cousin Paul Kudelski; nieces and nephews, Teresa and Gus Foulidis, Wanda, Zdzislaw, Andrew Nocun, Marguerite, Kelvin, Jordan and Matthew Page, Renata, Joel, Anita, Richard, Jerry, Barbara and Samantha Koziura. Also left to mourn are Ewa, Bogdan, Derek and Sandra Borys as well as many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Sylwester Pach; her parents, Michal and Anna Hajdun; sister Zofia Dobrowolski and her niece Maria Koziura. Katarzyna was born on October 14, 1923 in Rodatycze, Poland. She immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada in 1981. Katarzyna was a very loving and devoted family person. She was known as a wonderful cook as well as an amazing gardener with a love for nature. Her greatest joy was to be around her family and friends. She always had a great sense of humour, a beautiful smile and many wonderful stories to share. Even though you had to leave us: Your loving heart will always be with us. The family would like to thank Dr. G. Lipinski as well as the doctors, nurses and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit and at CancerCare Manitoba for all of their kindness and medical care. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, July 6 at 9:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Thank you for always being there When we needed you. Thank you for all of your kindness, And for all the years we shared. We'll take with us the memories, And hold them in our hearts; And everytime we think of you, We know you're watching us from above. You will live forever in our hearts, And always in our prayers.
